Why Conserve Indigenous
Wheats?
Seed-saving and adaptive
selection has been the right and responsbility of farmers since
the emergence of agriculture. By growing and saving seeds,
each of us can become a link to restore food and farming traditions
in our own community. Mideast native wheats,
many which date back to Biblical times, are in danger of being
lost to the world.
